5-Minute Setup

# Connect in 5 Minutes

Follow these simple steps to unlock unlimited XCHANGE Copilot access through your existing AI subscription.

## Wait, What's an MCP ?

A Custom GPT or Claude Skill is basically a PDF stapled to an AI. You upload some documents, write some instructions, and hope for the best. The AI reads your notes once and then improvises from memory. It can (and does) make things up when it's not sure.

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a set of purpose-built tools the AI can actually _use_. Each tool does one specific job. Instead of guessing, it calls a dedicated search tool that goes into the real XCHANGE database and pulls back the actual answer. It's not generating from memory — it's retrieving from the source.

### You're All Set!
